TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD!

Tell Me Something Good! is a performance art piece that celebrates YOUR good news!

It first premiered in the Salt Lake City Performance Art Festival in April 2020 and there are More iterations forthcoming!

AUDIO STOP :: UTAH MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS

The Utah Museum of Fine Arts invited me to contribute an audio stop for one of the artworks in their newest exhibit, Black Refractions: Highlights from The Studio Museum in Harlem.

Out of one hundred works by nearly eighty artists from the 1920s to the present, I chose to share my thoughts on Chakaia Booker’s Repugnant Rapunzel (Let Down Your Hair). You can listen to my audio stop here, and reserve your (socially-distanced) spot to see the exhibit here. Learn more about The Studio Museum of Harlem here.

CHOREOGRAPHER :: DESERET EXPERIMENTAL OPERA

I choreographed and directed Deseret Experimental Opera’s new, original work, Hundred Years Hence, which premiered March 19-20, 2021. Hundred Years Hence is based on the true story of Elsie Pirath whose life as a blind migrant from Denmark and Utah State Fair prizewinning lace knitter is unveiled by M, a fictional contemporary.
